St.Gallen, March 21. 2022: Summit is back in person this year for the first time in two years.
START Summit actively promotes innovation by bringing together more than 3,500 participants including startups, investors, companies and young talents. There will be interesting fireside chats and panels with different personalities from the startup and investor scene. Among others, this year Luciana Lixandru, Julian Teicke and Christian Miele will be part of a panel on the topic "the Momentum of the European-Startup Ecosystem". The fireside chat with the founders of GoStudent Founders, Austria's biggest Unicorn is also taking place on our Summit Stage.
The conference offers a rich program that allows visitors to build their network and expand their know-how. The theme of this year's START Summit is "The world in 2042 - Bolder Founders. Better Future." Which technologies are we going to use in 2042, 20 years from now? Do we even have a chance at predicting this? Questions like this are actively shaping the program of START Summit.
START Hack for the first time at Olma
Another novelty this year is that the Summit and the Hackathon will take place at the same time. In addition, the Hackathon will also take place in the Olma halls. This year the Hackathon expects 400 students from different universities. Among others, students from Harvard, ETH and TUM will be there. Within 36 hours, the participants will work on 6 cases, from i.e. Supercell, Microsoft, SBB and United Nations Environment Program. At the end of the time, the best teams of each case will be awarded with prizes.
