Make the most of your extended stay with curated experiences for each day of your Swiss Weekend
Friday
After START Summit wraps up, take a short walk through St. Gallen’s Old Town or grab a relaxed drink at a local café or bar to ease into the weekend. Then meet fellow participants at the official START Summit afterparty starting at 22:00 - unwind, connect, and celebrate two intense days to kick off your Swiss Weekend on a high note.
Saturday
Start your day with a scenic ride on Bus 180 from St. Gallen main station to Stein AR and visit the Appenzeller Cheese Show Dairy - including 50% off the exhibition and a complimentary amuse-bouche for START Summit participants. After lunch, head back to St. Gallen and explore the UNESCO Abbey District. When purchasing your Abbey Library ticket at the tourist information in the Old Town, you’ll receive a free audio guide to discover the city’s history at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy dinner in the city center and end the day at Casino St. Gallen with CHF 20 gaming credit.
Sunday
Take it slow: sleep in, recharge, and treat yourself to a relaxed brunch. Afterwards, explore St. Gallen’s museum scene - from art and culture to natural history. With the Museum Card by St. Gallen-Bodensee Tourism, you get access to 11 museums across the city for CHF 24. If you prefer fresh air and wide views, swap museums for a scenic day trip to Lake Constance and enjoy a calm lakeside reset before heading home.
